1 - From the Apple Menu select System Controls, and open the Network preference screen.

2 - Click the PPP tab.

3 - In the Show pull down make sure you have selected the appropriate modem.

4 - In Service Provider type in your email domain name.  For example: If you email address was bobsmith@ohyippee.com, usa type in ohyippee.com.

5 - Type your local dial up phone number in Telephone Number box.

6 - Type in the Account Name box your user name.  This will be your entire email address.

7 - Type in the Password box your password.

8 - Check Save password if you wish your password to be remembered.
